Dates/times are subject to change as committees begin their work throughout the year.

This is simply a GUIDELINE to be used in an effort to prevent as many conflicts as possible.

                                                                                    

Note:  OWN = OUTREACH; W = WITNESS; N = NURTURE = OWNERSHIP (OWN consists of all committees/ministries within these 3 areas:  OUTREACH, WITNESS & NURTURE). Chairs of Committees should set their Committee Meetings AFTER consulting with the Pastor AND the Secretary in the Church Office. The Secretary will be in charge of posting meetings on the Church Calendar. If there are changes to the regular meeting times, please let the Secretary know and she will make the changes to the calendar.

ALSO:  CHURCH COUNCIL is a combination of the Administrative Board and Council on Ministries which LHUMC adopted in January 2009.  OWNERSHIP: = O = OUTREACH; W = WITNESS; N = NURTURE; E = ENVISION; R = REVELATION; S = SHARING; H = HOLINESS; I = IGNITE; P = PREPARE. (By re-arranging the acronym from NOW to OWN; LHUMC is defining OWNERSHIP.
